Thanks for letting me know about the hogs. I'll have to look closer at them while making my mind up. I have a small holding to raise my hogs, so I have to be careful to make sure they have enough room. How large do they get?

  Good morning!!
I was starting out with a pr of Midget turkeys and something got my hen the other night (still wondering how this happened....). Anyway, are you hatching your own out or do you have any juveniles for sale? I am in Missouri and realize that they would need to be shipped. Or, do you know of anyone closer to us that might have some? Have a great day!!

  Large Black Hogs
No, the breed is actually known as Large Black Hogs. The breed website is www.largeblackhogassociation.org. They are a heritage breed that is very calm and friendly with big floppy ears. We love them! Pigs were the last thing I thought I wanted on our farm, but they ended up being one of the first things we got!
