Years I’ve been farming: 15 years

Animals I raise: Boer Goats

Crops I grow: Corn, Beans, Potatoes, Onions, Various Squash, Tomatoes, Turnips, Mustard Greens, Cabbage, Broccoli, Various Peppers, Turnips, Spinach, Golden Delicious Apples, Granny Smith Apples, Red Delicious Apples, and Pears.

Hobbies I enjoy: Farming, hunting, fishing, music, and just being with family and friends.

Club/Associations memberships: "Kentucky Proud"

The proudest moment on my farm: Seeing the farm come out of hibernation and start turning in to the farm that it was generations before myself.

Pets: Samson - German Shepherd Dog.
Solomon - Cat.
Ellie May - Boer Goat.
Zoro - Boer Goat.

Thanks for the shout back. Kentucky looks so beautiful. Just by looking at your photos the soil looks rich and fertile. My soil is pretty good, but boy had to work at it for sometime. Hope you have a great farm year. Stay in touch.

  Thank you all very much! Its a real pleasure to be able to see the farm in the transition that its in while working on completing my Bachelor's degree as well, it makes for a busy life! I just now figured out how to see these comments so I apologize for the delayed response and will definitely check everybody else out too! :)

you are doing a wonderful thing, reviving the farm. I have goats also, three very young nubian. We drink the milk. What a joy the goats are.
