Well he has me on the look out, but so far the prices are an oucher and the kicker is to get a full blooded one and nothing with a % of angus in it or he will have to show in a commerical class and a % is judge on weight gain. Since my hubby showed cows when he was younger, he does not like pushing weight on cattle because they have breeding issues or the founder before they can be bred. But we have time to look. Need a baby born in April for him to show for two years instead of one. But got to love what comes out of his mouth on what he wants to show next. I think he could talk someone into showing an allgator if they listen...LOL Come visit me, The Homestead.

Hi! How interesting! We just bought my mother a Belted Galloway for Christmas, and we already raise Angus and Polled Hereford. The Belties are gorgeous, but it's taken some getting used to all that hair -- we are so used to a slick haired cow! Do you also breed the Belties, separately, or only the cross? You're calf is precious!Come visit me, The Farm Wife & Paradise Plantation.
