Hello, I grew up in Collins. I love the pictures of your farm. It is a beautiful setting and looks like it should be on a greeting card for the Christmas season. Just beautiful.

Come visit me, KB Acres.

  Storm
I put up a picture of what happened to our first corn crop we planted. A wind storm came through July 11th and pretty much flattened it. Luckily it has for the most part stood back up. My dad (a lifelong farmer) says it will be a difficult harvest as there is a lot still bent and leaning, but maybe only 10-15% reduction in harvest. So goes the life of being a farmer.:) Wouldn't trade it for anything though.

Come visit me, 7th Heaven.

  Storm
I hope all my hobby farm friends have weathered this massive storm O.K. Hopefully families and critters alike made it through O.K. Here in Central Iowa, we lucked out in that the blizzard was only blowing around 5-7 inches of snow. As it went east I know it was worse. I am sooooo happy to see sunshine today, even though it is still very cold.:)

Come visit me, 7th Heaven.
