  Hello!
Sounds like you and I are in similar situations. I'm chomping at the bit to get my hands in the soil, growing and enjoying the land.

I hope you enjoy every minute of the planning and I hope you reach your goal of getting on the land by the end of the year!

  Buffs
There's a herd of 60 buffaloes in our community just south of Denver. We love taking our son there to see these majestic creatures. He's even had the thrill of feeding one through the fence. The herd is very familiar with people since they reside in the middle of a huge suburban development.

Come visit me, Backyard Ranch.

  Hi,
We have 6 ewes, mostly Romanov mix. They are good for meat and have beautiful wool. I like to spin and knit.
I also weave but never had enough time to spin enough for weaving. I weave rag rugs. I enjoy your picture.

Come visit me, Wild & Wooly Acres.

  Thank you
Thank you for commenting on my farm - Promised Land Homestead. Your land looks beautiful and I wish you all the best in fulfilling your dream and your daughter's dream. I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I lost a daughter to heart disease. I like your idea of planting a memory garden. Perhaps I will borrow it and plant a garden for my Charlotte.
Blessings,
Teresa

  Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
NO...not a Cav...but I bet it could rival them in the shedding department. Can't seem to keep up with the dog hair tumbleweeds this time of year.
