Good morning. Almost 8:00am and over 80 degrees. "WOW". The Myotonic (fainting goat) breed is primarily a meat goat due to the myotonia gene that makes there muscles stiffen. However, they do produce a fair amount of rich creamy milk for there size. The good thing is, they are closer to a pet dog than a goat. Not the percieved jumpers, climbers and escape artist. Very, very docile and extremely hardy and diseise resistent. I will have pics posted shortly. Just google myotonic goats and there will be a breed description and all the info you can use. Come visit me, A&E FARMS.

Wow, Was it ever hot today here in the mid ohio valley. 108 degree heat index. Officialy in a heat wave as per the weather man. I will take some pics of the Faniting goats in the morning before it gets hot and while it is bright out. Will post them tomo. If you have ever considered goats, you can't go wrong with myotonics. Just a wonderfull pet. Please stay cool and pray for a retrieve. Come visit me, A&E FARMS.

Love the picture of the lake or pond. Hope the weather has been good to you in the midwest. It has been extremley hot here in WV. We just got our first goats 2 weeks ago. Myotonic fainting goats. They are so wonderfull and such a joy to own. Not the typical climbing and jumping type. We have already trained them to be walked on a leash and they just lay around on the porch like a dog. We love them. Come visit me, A&E FARMS.
