Years I’ve been farming: 6 years

Animals I raise: Boer goats, Nubian goats, and a mix of the two; Delaware chickens

Crops I grow: Tomatoes, basil, corn, squash, beans, peas, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, fruit and nut tree orchard, broccoli, various herbs, sunflowers, gooseberries, lingonberries, bamboo, Jerusalem artichokes, garlic, various types onions, asparagus, bell and hot peppers.

Hobbies I enjoy: Photography, spinning, making homemade soap, growing mushrooms, vermiculture, cooking, reading, hunting morels, small farming, making goat milk cheese. Hubby likes all that mentioned plus he's a published novelist and writes as the mood strikes. But so far he's too busy doing farm chores to sit and write!

The proudest moment on my farm: My proudest moment was when I helped deliver 3 stuck baby kids and I had absolutely no experience with any kind of OB type stuff even though I was an RN before becoming disabled.

Pets: 3 Maltese mix dogs and 1 barn cat and 1 fat indoor cat

Farm Motto: The Lord is our shepherd.
