Nice. Currently, I'm in 8th grade, and me and my dad were figuring out my college plans. If I start my college courses at 16, the age I can start, I will graduate with my bachelor's degree at 20. Then my college of choice would be U.C. Davis, but if I can't get in there, I would go to Cal Poly or Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. I have my whole future planned out, but I have to save up a lot of money! My first job would be working for the local equine vet, then putting that on my resume. Sorry, that's a lot about me. Haha, I also have my house and truck i want to get when I'm older. :) Happy Farmin'!

Thanks for stopping by. I do not have our horses on the horse channel, however, I/we will certainly go to the h/c and vote for yours. We are new to this hobby farms website and I have not checked out the horse channel yet. We just have dial-up internet and sometime it takes forever. None the less, you have our vote. Good luck and stay in touch. Happy Farming:)

It was nice hearing, from you. Our horses were rescues, I'm just guessing that the bay is a Quarterhorse, she has a very plain head and a wonderful body. Her colt's sire is a beautiful Paint Walker. I'm sure the Paint mare is a Walker. She's due to foal, soon. You have wonderful goals! Follow your dreams!

We just got a 7yr. old quarter horse and a 5yr. old quarter/arabian cross. The quarter horse is a mare and nothing but a sweetheart. On the other hand, the arabian cross is a younger gelding. They both were rescue horses and therefore we do not know the total story on there past history. Apollo the arabian, is quite the pistol. However, we are making great progress, considering we know nothing about horses. We still love them unconditionally.

It may be just our area...I dont know. Actually his wife is the horse person...she does a lot..but sometimes they need a vet...We have one that comes from Virginia who has a traveling office and costs a fortune when there is a need and he is the only one around that will do horses.

I think you would be an even better Veterinarian as I sense you have a close awareness with the equine spirit.
