Thanks DVB Acres!
Things went really well with the fusion recovery. I've been back to full-time work since Nov. A few months ago someone dropped off a few roosters. We didn't plan on chickens just yet but the were enough to push us into getting more. Two weeks ago we got six pullets and we are getting ready to take them outside. It's warm enough now and we think they might be grown enough to handle it.Come visit me, Scenic Stables.

Your property looks like a gem!
Hope things are going well after the fusion - back/neck surgery is never fun. I hope your recovery was/is a good one. St. Croix Falls is such a beautiful area. I used to live and work in Osceola and Somerset for about 7 years. Loved being close enough to the Twin Cities for shopping but still in a small, rural community.Come visit me, DVB Acres.

Year One Learning Opportunities
This being my first post I just want to say that I am so glad that I found this sight. In Wisconsin we get severe winters and short, hot summers. Our property was a foreclosure property so it sat empty for about two years. There is a lot to do and almost everything I do is a learning experience.
