Thanks for visitin' The picture of the kids on the pony was of me and my older brother. He was named Trigger and lived to be in his late 20's and was always unpredictable! He learned to open the gate and would get out into the veggie garden, always in the sweet corn patch! You have a really nice set up with your coop, makes it so much easier. I may add some chickens and ducks to my place.Come visit me, Talley Farms.

Hi! Thank you for the warm welcome! Alpacas are adorable animals! When you say you're raising chickens the "easy way"? What way is that? We have lots of chickens (about 30 or so) and just let 'em come and go as they please...no coop, no tractor..just access to a nest box in the barn with a section under with food. They have water buckets, a 3 gallon waterer and a dog bowl with water that they have 24 hour access to, also. All we do is keep feeders filled and water bowls/buckets clean and filled. Oh yeah, and look for eggs a few times a day. :)Come visit me, Hill o' Beans Alpacas.

Re Bumblebees Hi! The great thing about bumblebees and mason bees is that they are non-aggressive and don't take up a lot of space. You can also choose whether or not to raise them because wild ones will nest in your yard if you build them houses and mount them or set them around the yard. Mason Bees are 100 times better at pollination than honey bees too! My farm is pretty small only 1 acre but I grow a lot in containers to maximize space (another good reason not to have honey bees).Come visit me, Perfect World Farm.

Chickens Pecking Just one question if you can answer it for me. What can you dust on chickens to make them stop pecking eachother? Is it just the extreme heat we have been having and causing them stress or is it something else. I just got chickens this Spring and am still learning. If you can please comment on My Farm, Loud Mouth Chickens. Thanks! Nice coop by the way! haha.Come visit me, Loud Mouth Chickens.
