How did you start your own club? Need more info on this, even though my child is healthy compaired to most...he's the only one with a livestock project and our leader just doesn't care. I kept on telling myself "she's new...LAST YEAR..." But what's her excuse this year, she isn't coming to any of the local shows and I have parents calling me for help when their kids join next year with goat projects. So okay I'm knee deep in cattle, chickens and pigs. I guess I will get a crash course in goats, looking forward to the knowledge, just hope my child doesn't was a few to go with the knowledge. Do you have the lower, middle or upper 4Hers? Right now I help out with the lower, but when our son gets to the middle grade, I think I will be staying and helping the younger ones. Come visit me, The Homestead.

Hi!
Yes there are less aggressive bees that you can attract or raise. Check out the Blue Orchard Bee (also called Mason Bee) chances are some of these are already working for you and all you'll have to do is build or buy them a house. Most of the non-aggressive bees do not make honey but they are a lot more productive pollinators than Honey Bees.Come visit me, Perfect World Farm.

Thanks I built this coop for about 300.00 it is 4x5 I have a small flock....The run is 8x8 enclosed and when I am out with my chickens then I can open the locked down run and then its about 10x20 but I have a lot of preditors in the area so they usually are in the locked run.
