Great! Thanks so much for the information. I may have to get a pair and see how they do. I have a lot of good possible spots to build them shelter that will keep them out of the cold and wind. I just think the India Blue are so pretty and love watching them.

Come visit me, MTH Farm.

How well does your Pea fowl do in the winter time? I was thinking about getting some myself but have read that you need to be careful with them in colder climates and being from Northern Michigan, I am a little hesitant.

  Bad Goats????
When we got our three only the buck was semi friendly the other two took hours of us out there everyday catching them and playing then they started to get more tame for us to check them and play nice.

  Jumping right in
Hi, I guess we weren't the only ones who just jumped right in with goats! Though we did do quite a bit of research, once I found Jed & Lulu I was determined to get them, even though my husband and I had said before we were getting two GIRLS so we could breed and milk them...at this point, maybe Lulu will have a girl, we'll see, but Jed & Lulu are here to stay! Good luck with yours!
