We love our Dexters, especially our heifer that we are raising and training. I'd be glad to talk to you about them, even exchange emails if that's easier for you. (I find this system here a bit labor-intensive. Maybe I just need to get more used to it.)

That's great! Your pastures look like the perfect place for goats. I am sure you will love the Nigerian breed, they are the best goats we have ever owned. They are easy to care for and very hardy, they also give good milk and a lot of it. I am sure when you see the right goats that you will take the step in no time.Hannah, Sillyville, WI.

I like your pasture.
Thanks for visiting my site and for the comments on the barn. It's a 12 x 24 pole barn with a hay loft. The barn quilt on the end is actually a door. That's how I put my hay and straw upstairs. I had the roof trusses custom made to allow the most room up top I could get and its worked pretty well. However, it already seems too small. If you're thinking of building a barn, my suggestion is go larger than what you think you want, I don't think you'll be sorry.

Goats
