  hello from H.P.
Beautiful farm! Ours is little - we are just starting out and learning the ropes, but have met lots of nice people in Anderson and Abbeville County who have been farming for years and we've enjoyed that very much. :-)

Come visit me, Late Bloomers.

Thanks for visiting Zephyr Hill Farm
Your place looks gorgeous! Such nice, rolling green hills.

We love our Dexters, especially our heifer that we are raising and training. I'd be glad to talk to you about them, even exchange emails if that's easier for you. (I find this system here a bit labor-intensive. Maybe I just need to get more used to it.)

I have a "real" blog that might interest you. You can look on the right-hand side for Dexters, Sara, Siobhan or T-Bone to see more about our Dexters.

That's great! Your pastures look like the perfect place for goats. I am sure you will love the Nigerian breed, they are the best goats we have ever owned. They are easy to care for and very hardy, they also give good milk and a lot of it. I am sure when you see the right goats that you will take the step in no time.

  Nice pastures.
Thanks for visiting my page. Looks like you have just the place for some goats. Look like a good pasture to try some rotation graziing.

  I like your pasture.
Thanks for visiting my site and for the comments on the barn. It's a 12 x 24 pole barn with a hay loft. The barn quilt on the end is actually a door. That's how I put my hay and straw upstairs. I had the roof trusses custom made to allow the most room up top I could get and its worked pretty well. However, it already seems too small. If you're thinking of building a barn, my suggestion is go larger than what you think you want, I don't think you'll be sorry.

Thank you for visiting my farm page. I highly recommend getting goats! Fainting goats. They are very docile and sweet. Plus beautiful. :-) Good luck with your place, it's very pretty.

Thanks for visiting me. I'm located out in West Texas, so the snow we got last week was a surprise for us. After the drought this year, every little bit helps. I'll hopefully have some more pictures up soon.

Come visit me, Rolling Plains Farm.
