Champ
The new pup's name is Champ, short for Champion, because he has now peed on the papers twice. What a Champ!
Sold the second batch of beef feeder calves today at the local sales barn and got a better price than the first batch two weeks ago. Kinda surprising when one of them was an ornery heifer with HORNS and the horns always seem to get docked quite a bit. Must have been a couple buyers that liked them though to get the bid up a bit. Didn't get to see them sell because dinner gave me an upset stomach, but a friend picked up my check for me. Hate not seeing my animals sell, I'd rather be there.Come visit me, Mare Owner's Farm.

New Farm Dog
Tonight I picked up the new farm pup. Last winter we lost our old faithful farm dog. He chased away many a fox over the years. He can never be replaced, but we do have an opening to fill. Hopefully the new guy will be a good match.Come visit me, Mare Owner's Farm.
