Years I’ve been farming: 51 years old
Animals I raise: Old English Babydoll Southdown sheep. Old English Rare Breed Bantam chickens, Silkie Chickens, Barnevelders, Barred Plymouth Rock, and other various egg layers. Also Peacocks. Labrador Retrievers-guar- d dogs.
Crops I grow: Heritage garden is our only crop these days.
Hobbies I enjoy: All the above, along with flea markets and antique shops. I collect primitive farm equipment smalls but sometimes something unusual will just make me have to have it.My family comes first with my husband of nearly 39 years, 2 sons and many family members.
The proudest moment on my farm: Everyday that someone just stops by with there children or grandchildren or just themselves to see the animals and chickens.
Pets: 100 chickens, yes some of them like to be held and have names. Our Labrador retrievers, Lucille and Stoker. Our Olde English Babydoll Southdown Sheep, 'Darby Me Boy, Stewart Little, Gypsy Girl, Honey Sweet and Katie Me Girl.
