Hello again, "LOL", No, fainting goats do not really faint. They just stiffen up and fall over when startled. They are fully awake and it does them no harm. It only last for about 10-15 seconds. They have a genetic disorder called "MYOTONIA". It is a muscular disorder that causes them to stiffen when spooked. I must say they are very fun to watch and be around.
