We have considered the dexters as well. If we didn't have the Scittish Highlands that would be our 2nd choice. We only have 35 acres for now. Hoping to expand someday to a bigger farm. On a sad note, Something got our favorite Aricauna hen "Henny Penny" last night. I think maybe a racoon. Soooo, the war is on. We have only been into farming for a few years and nobody knows more than we, that it just takes time. Please keep us posted on your progress. Good luck and best wishes.
