I felt the same way, growing up we had a couple of acres spread out in about 5 different places and always raised 2 pigs each year. After retiring I now have 17 acres and I love it. We are just starting out, been going for a little less then a year. We now have 13 chickens, 7 hens and 6 roosters. The roosters are going soon so I can have more room for more hens. We also have 4 goats and 2 ducks. It might be nostalgic but it will take you back to the things you enjoy.

Come visit me, Tom and Suzannes & Nearly Heaven.

  About Me
I'm actually a wannabe farmer. I'm working on starting a community garden and a school garden. I am the mother of 6 and grandmother of 2 and the granddaughter of hog farmers, so I may be a bit nostalgic.

Come visit me, The Herb Patch.
