Farm Name: Working Mom's Homestead

Year Farm Established: 2012

Years I’ve been farming: 1 year

Animals I raise: currently 18 chickens, and 4 ducks. Hoping to add rabbits, and maybe some goats next.

Crops I grow: currently--toma- toes, garlic, peas, green beans, rhubarb, asparagus, blueberries, raspberries, pumpkins, cucumbers, cabbage, herbs, potatoes, onions, lettuce, strawberries. Hoping to get better organized for next year and get more in the ground :)

Hobbies I enjoy: family time, gardening, quilting, sewing, reading, spending time with my chickens, wasting time on facebook and loving getting ideas on pinterest!!

Club/Associations memberships: Children are in 4H

The proudest moment on my farm: when I got my first 6 chickens a year ago :)

Pets: border collie and 2 cats

  You have your work cut out for you. There is lots to do on a farm But a farmette.??..dont know that I know that term...... sounds interesting.

  Welcome. We started with ducks. Then chickens. Then fainting goats and then Highland cattle and now 2 horses. One you get started, it's hard to get stopped.lol Have a great farming day. :)

  Not really a farm, more of a homestead
Working slowly on making my little homestead more of a farmette. Chickens, ducks, fruit trees and garden all checks, so much more to add though :)
