You asked about hen breeds
Our mixed flock has buff orpingtons, barred rocks, gold and silver laced wyandottes, speckled sussex and rhode island red. While they all lay well, the kids and I prefer the buff orpintons as they seem to be the friendliest. The one that our son is now bottle feeding is a heifer and he named her CC. The photo of him on the back of Seany and sleeping on Spotswatch are bulls and the the pic with with him and his dad is his March heifer Tulip. I think the very 1st one of P2 (son) and heifer Summer when he was learning how to clip.
What breed is your brown and white rabbit? Reminds me of Carrot P2's 1st rabbit before the asthma doctor said the rabbits had to go.Come visit me, The Homestead.

happy new year. Only wild rabbits on the verge and some times they come up the drive way, but dont stay. they burrow in tothe sand or under logs. The ground is not good for burrowing, but they do survive. They run back and forwards across the road at night or just on dark. They eat the farmers crops on the edge and encrouch further and further in to the middle of the crop and they eat it down to the ground. So destructive. The Shire wont bait and we dont either as we would be fighting a losing battle alone. They are a pest here in Australia Come visit me, Mindalong West.

How to add photos
Don't know if you've gotten an answer yet but to add photos you click "edit" on your account and then, towards lower left on the screen you'll see: "Click here to edit or add more photos of your farm." Then you'll see a "browse" prompt and click it. You'll then get the chance to add your photos. Pls let me know it this helps. p.s. because it tells you on the quiz page...... if you are ding them alright then you are listed on the system of the top 5 or so. I see I am still on the list of top 5..... some of them are hard....as I dont know the American history/geography, zones etc.. I have to look them up some times. other times I just know the answer. but I seem to be doing alright Come visit me, Mindalong West.

the dog in the photo
the dog in the photo is a bulldog named lady the girls name is Abigail her and lady were really good friends. when ever we took lady on walks she would put the leash in her mouth and walk her self or another dog.she was a really good dog.Come visit me, abigails amazing farm.
