Sorry to hear about your injuries that would keep you form working with your horses. I find such peace with my animals.

I ride western. I have competed for years in rodeo events, specifically barrel racing. I do outside train but I am limited to the summer months for training as I do not have an indoor. During the winter mud, I have to haul to local indoor facilities to ride. Quarter horses are my breed. The one horse is a roan. He is 6 and I bought him as a 3 yr old stallion that was untouched. I have a lot of time and patience and he was well worth it. I only have 4 acres but love every inch of it.

  Good Morning
Thanks for visiting my page. I need to get a bunch more photos up. I'm trying to document the farm life for my family and friends to visit the page and try and understand what is really happening here. It is fun to visit the other pages and see what everyone is doing. I'm disappointed that so many don't respond and tell more about their farms.
We have a wealth of information with everyone who is on here. It would be a shame if it's not shared.

What breed of horses do you raise? Is the one on the right in your photo Appaloosa or roan? From what I can see the color is special. By the bridles I would say you ride Western. What kind of training do you do? How large is your place and do you take outside horses for training?

I used to be able to train my babies and do all the ground work till my accident in 09. It's been over 3 years since I've been allowed to work much with anyone. Was over 2 years before being allowed in with them. I hate seeing all the wasted time.

  Thank you!
Thanks for the comments on the pics. I am new to this site so still trying to figure it all out. I enjoy the interaction and visiting and learning about your farms. Love the farm life, albeit mine is on a very small scale. Love the land and growing flowers mostly. Ohio winters keep me inside way too much :(

Love your photo. I raise Arabians but haven't had any new foals in over 3 years. Haven't been able to work much with them due to an injury. Just getting back to some ground work. Right now I have 6 stallions and 6 mares.

Welcome. Awesome pic. We have two horses we rescued. One is a T/W and the other is half 1/4 half Arabian. We don't ride them yet. Just giving them a loving home. Have a great farming day. :)
