Years I’ve been farming: Less than a year old

Animals I raise: Berkshire and Yorkshire pigs. Chickens.

Crops I grow: Currently oranges and persimmons.

Hobbies I enjoy: Reading, spades, and experimenting in new ways to subsidize costs of food while avoiding pesticides and gmo.

The proudest moment on my farm: Bringing my new Registered Berkshire Gilt home and watching her play in the dirt for the first time.

New Berkshire Babies! We had a our first litter of piglets on 12/28/2012. Being new to raising livestock, we did not know what to expect.
