Thanks for the compliments, this picture is when I first finished the coop and placed our Bantaam Chickens in there.

Yes right now we have the Turkeys and Chickens together.
Yet they do belong apart, Turkeys can be harmful to the chickens.
So soon we will be working on making the Chicken Yard much bigger.
It is only 4'x8' now in just trying to get things finished.
We do not free range cause of the fox and hawks around.
Turkeys are not hard, just much bigger.
Like have a Tom and Hen Turkey around in just hearing them make their calls.
We are using brood lamps, 2 of them at 120 watt each to help keep them warm
Chickens like the plastic prefab box up high near the same level as our roost for them.
Looking at getting a second one.
Been farming since I was little, this is my first one on my own.
Wife is a city girl and she is learning.
kids love it.

Come visit me, Kidd Family Place.

  Great coop.
I was wondering how old your turkeys are, and do you keep them in with your chickens or do you seperate them? Is raising turkeys more difficult than raising your chickens?

Come visit me, funky farm.
