The proudest moment on my farm: When we watched our very first poult hatch. It was the most awesome sight! Our little Martin bird has grown into a beautiful, friendly hen. (Yes, we were quite sure she was a he... oh well!) A cross between a lilac tom and bourbon red hen - she's a gorgeous buff. She's super special!
