  Thanks !
I appreciate the info on Longhorns! Do you have any recommended resources to look into for more info?

I would like to start small and gradually grow a herd both in Longhorns, Bison, and Beefalo. I'm not expecting to run a large scale, but I would like to manage a small herd business to pay for the house & land. I'm currently looking at land in Idaho, but for now looking to partner with a local stockman here in Illinois.

What are some of the costs involved? How many head do you have altogether?

NICE! I've been seriously considering raising longhorns for both personal and commercial (small scale). It appears you have recently started within the last year. Do you mind sharing some of the details about start up and expenses? What would you do differently if you did it over again? Thanks !

  Our Farm
My husband & I are very proud of our longhorns! We are now managing the family farm that we inherited from my father. It's lots of work but very rewarding.
