Recently got 2 little 4 month old Nigerian Dwarf Goats named Moose and Penelope. We love them! We put them in with our calfs and they made friends right away. So happy we got them and plan to get more in the future.

  New calves
We got our two new calves a few days ago. A little Jersey Holstein cross female and a Jersey Holstein male. Both adorable! These will not be for beef but to us to keep and grow with our family and little farm.

We had our first shearing day for our Alpacas. All went well. Thanks to Malcolm Cooper who did a great job with our boys!

  Thanks for visiting
We are very happy with our alpacas. The two youngest are males and are going to the Buckeye Alpaca Show in Columbus May 4 & 5. I'll let you know how they did.

I raise Hereford hogs and they are big babies. If you spend time with them they are great. Although you have to be careful if they ever have babies. As cute as the little babies are it hard not to pick one up but that's when mama pig can get real protective

  Your male alpacas
You'd left a note on my blog. I'd try separating the most aggressive for a couple days & maybe the other two will bond more. If they are drawing blood, you should trim their fighting teeth or have the shearer do it when they are shorn this spring. You can email me directly or call if you want to talk about it. Don

Hi, No, I don't believe that is the case. We can get close to all of ours except one heifer that is young yet. All ittakes is a little human interaction and some kind words. We love ours. They are very docile and great at clearing brush. We bought our farm in a foreclosure and it had been clear cut timbered. The Highlands have been busy taking care of the brush and green pockets of lush grass is appearing all over in the new pasture. Hope this info helps.Any and all questions always welcome. Have a great farming day. :)
