  quail and salsa
we hatched out 55 quail eggs and at 6 weeks they are already starting to lay. They eat a lot and drink a lot. They are quite noisy, but not as bad a guinneys!
Salsa is easy. The mixes from the grocery stores are a big help. I use a water bath canner. Easy, easy.

  Salsa Time
We're up to our elbows in tomatoes, so it's salsa time.
I may make ketchup too, tomorrow. It's a lot of work, but opening a jar in January is like tasting June.
The sunflowers we planted are heading now. Will try roasting sunflower seeds from the big Grey Stripe.
I love this time of year.

Come visit me, Anglin Farm.
