  flemish bunny!
Yesterday my daughter and I went and picked up our first flemish bunny! We are so excited. It is a white albino, but the eyes are more lavender then red :) We named it Sugar. It appears to be a boy so far, but going to recheck that when it gets bigger.

Come visit me, Assless Acres.

Just wait till you have plants from those seeds growing. Our son has a pumkin plant that he's babing in his chicken run.

  watermelon & Yogurt
Yesterday I took watermelon slices and a little plain yogurt out to the flock, and they were very curious but cautious. I always laugh when little chicks are introduced to something new.
I checked in on them later and there was no yogurt to be found, and the watermelon was only a thin rind! So they figured it out :)
This is a new batch as my old batch of light brahmas and buff orpingtons I gave to my friends as we had to move 7 hours away. So we are starting once again. Soon we are going to add Pekin ducklings to our farm. Can't wait for that! And of coarse as the title shows, I have yet to get my Donkey.
