Males measure 19 to 23 inches in height at the shoulder, and females measure 18 to 21 inches in height at the shoulder. The male’s weight ranges from 45 to 60 pounds, and female’s weight ranges from 40 to 50 pounds.
Special Consideration/Notes on English Shepherds: The English Shepherd’s long, moderately coarse, straight or wavy coat needs brushing about three times a week to prevent tangles.
