NYC Farm Aid Concert is Sept. 9
Dozens of artists from Ray Price and Merle Haggard to Willie Nelson and Dave Matthews will perform as farm aid artists.

Farm Aid Joins Farm Tour To further celebrate the importance of local farms, Farm Aid is joining Sustainable Table for the Eat Well Guided Tour of America's grand finale event at the Gigi Market at Greig Farm, 227 Pitcher Lane, Red Hook, in New York's Hudson Valley.
Tickets are $20 but it's free for all farmers.

Farm Aid recently announced it has added even more artists to the concert lineup for Farm Aid 2007: A HOMEGROWN Festival, Sunday, September 9 at Randall’s Island in New York City.
The latest Farm Aid artists includes: Ray Price, Merle Haggard, Danielle Evin, Jesse Lenat, Jimmy Sturr, Pauline Reese, Billy Joe Shaver, and Paula Nelson.
They join these Farm Aid artists:
- Willie Nelson
- Neil Young
- John Mellencamp
- Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds
- Gregg Allman and The Allman Brothers Band
- Counting Crows
- Matisyahu
- Guster
- The Derek Trucks Band
- Warren Haynes
- Supersuckers
- The Ditty Bops
- Montgomery Gentry

For the first time at a major concert event, Farm Aid 2007: A HOMEGROWN Festival will showcase an abundance of family farm food vendors, serving local, organic, humanely-raised and family farmed food. There will also be hands-on, interactive exhibits with farmers and activists that inspire living a homegrown life (see sidebar for a related activity).
