Our local market offers fresh local produce, fresh organic produce, and holds training seminars on canning, jerky making, solar cooking, even how to get Certified by the County. They have shared how to raise chickens, and how to build a hoop greenhouse. Being involved like this is a great example of how a farmers market can help the community!

where i live there is only one farmers market & the prices are so high that most people can't afford to shop there. If their prices were reasonable, I think that they would do a lot better.A lot of their produce is about double what you would pay at any grocery store.

They just started a Farmer's Market where I live and I couldn't ask for a better place to shop!

I love a good farmers' market- all of the wholesome products available are a testament of our natural survival instincts. The ability to make local connections and share our stories is the lifeline of a small community, and a farmers' market is the perfect place to keep America strong.
