The First Farmer

The First Farmer

It's not at all uncommon as farmers to run into challenges. A chicken is losing feathers, and we don't know why. Our tomatoes have blossom-end rot, and no amendment seems to help. Droughts happen. Pests happen. Thus is the life of someone committed to working the land. When we face agricultural adversity, it's easy to think we are the only ones experiencing these problems, but that's not so. Since man has been on the Earth, earth has been under his feet. We are not the first to undergo farming tribulations, and we will not be the last. What is important is to learn from others and impart that knowledge to the next generation.
