Farm pantry list

Need Recipes?
We have over 200--from sultry soups to bountiful baked goods.

A farm pantry serves as more than grocery storage; it’s your own personal country convenience store.

When you keep the following items on hand—with some basics from the refrigerator and garden—you can whip up anything from coffeecakes for impromptu neighborly visits to a jam-making marathon.

I love this! It's just what I need to keep me organized and I can carry it with me when I go shopping. Have been looking for something like this!

Buying bulk is always preferable to buying individual packages. However, you must do comparison shopping to find the best deals. Big bulk-food places like Sam's Club and Costco are not always the cheaper place to purchase things. I have found sugar $4 cheaper in a 25lb bag at the grocery store down the road than at Costco, as an example. Also, lots of grocery stores are starting to offer bulk goods sections, and that can save lots and lots of money. An example, bulk spaghetti is $0.77/lb as compared to prepackaged at $0.99/lb. It all depends on your personal preferences and needs. Prepackaged may be better for you based on your situation, as not all of us have the pantry size we would want.
