Travelers can find wineries, breweries and distilleries around the world to visit and tour. In 2016, tourists can add “weedery” to that list. The Colorado Cannabis Ranch and Amphitheater “will give the public the unique opportunity to tour an award-winning state of the art marijuana grow facility, listen to live music, and enjoy a meal, all while enjoying sweeping views of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains,” the website states.
The ranch will consist of an interactive tour where visitors will be educated on marijuana, an outdoor amphitheater with a capacity of over 3,000, a restaurant and rooftop bar, an on-site dispensary and a gift shop. While wineries, breweries and distilleries often have samples during their tours, the weedery does not (Colorado law prohibits this). Those who participate in the $5 to $10 tour will receive credit for product or merchandise, Mashable reports.
