One of the joys of living an agricultural life is the culture that comes with it: Time spent doing satisfying work and knitting connections among family and friends. Rose Wilder Lane’s family began farming in the late 1800s, after the Industrial Revolution had taken a foothold in America. As it probably was for her back then, today it’s easy to get caught up in the bustle of a busy life. However, it’s satisfying to know we can turn back to the farm to balance the chaos and find fulfillment.
