Create Wildlife Habitats

Learn how to use wildlife habitats--like nest boxes and travel corridors--to help manage wildlife on your farm.

I love having wildlife around here. So many birds nest in our boxes.

This is great,I have had food and nesting boxes out for years, I also put out nesting material to help the little critters out, such as raw wool, clean cotton batting .When we trim dead wood from trees in the pasture we pile smaller branches on the ground this gives the horn toads and lizards a safe haven.

My x-mas tree is going in the backyard for a while to give the birds some cover. When the needles are gone, I'll use the trunk for a garden support.
