A Farmhouse Renovation

With a little creativity and a lot of elbow grease, one Connecticut couple re-envisions and reinvigorates a run-down farmhouse.

Simplifying the Office
A room equal in size to the farmhouse’s living room serves as Robin’s downstairs office/studio. When she’s not in the kitchen, that’s where you’ll find her. A simple but large rectangular room with wooden flooring, retro furniture, wooden countertops and task-lamp lighting, it’s a maze of computers, printers and files against a clean white background. At first, she thought it needed renovation but soon found the simplicity of its faded glory inspirational.
