Asian Pear, Apple and Ginger Juice

Fresh ginger adds a spicy kick to any variety of juice, but it goes especially well with apples and pears.

Once you enjoy the juice, reserve the flavorful pulp to use in seasonal baked goods, like Ginger Pear Cranberry Breakfast Rolls.

Yield: About 8 ounces


  • 1/4- to 1/2-inch piece of ginger, peeled
  • 2 medium Asian pears, cored
  • 1 medium apple, cored (any variety)

Feed ginger into electric juicer, followed by Asian pears and apple. Stir, add ice cubes if desired, and serve immediately.
