Mango and Pineapple Salsa

Mango and Pineapple Salsa makes a perfect accompaniment for fish or chicken and also can be enjoyed with chips.

Tasty Tomatoes

This tropical, fruity salsa will transport you and your guests to the islands for a while. 

Yield: approximately 5 cups


  • 4 cups chopped cherry tomatoes
  • 1 medium-sized onion, chopped
  • 1 mango, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, minced
  • 1 cup chopped pineapple
  • 1/2 chopped cup cilantro
  • 1 T. lime juice
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 T. Tabasco sauce
  • 1 avocado, sliced

In large bowl, combine tomatoes, onion, mango, jalapeño, pineapple and cilantro. Add lime juice, pineapple juice and Tabasco sauce. Mix well, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to mingle. Garnish with sliced avocado just before serving.
