The Big Bale Buddy is a bag style round bale feeder made out of heavy duty, openweave, UV treated polypropylene. The Extra Large fit round bales between 5 feet 3 inches and 6 feet in dianeter (mesure across the flat end of your bale).The Big Bale Buddy covers the bottom and sides of your bales so that the hay must be pulled from the top (flat end). A strong elastic holds the feeder up and prevents the animals from unraveling the sides of the bale. As the hay gets eaten, the feeder collapses down with the bale, keeping the hay inside. The Big Bale Buddy is excellent for keeping your hay clean and contained in windy and muddy conditions. It can be put on its side during rainy weather to help keep the hay dry.
